The EMT will be responsible for checking out and boarding patients on our ambulances, handling basic trauma management and performing transports to local medical facilities.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and will serve a CA state EMT Certification.
Responsibilities:
Be able to drive an ambulance, assist a paramedic, and use life support equipment.
Communicate with other first responders while on scene and at the hospital.
Respond to EMS calls; handle basic emergencies; recognize symptoms of more severe conditions and triage accordingly.
Know the geography of your community.
Understand the principles of infection control, triage, and treatment pursuant to current standards of practice.
Be able to help a patient breathe, treat an unconscious person, give CPR, provide care before EMS arrives, and act appropriately in an emergency situation.
Be able to manage an emergency scene until more advanced medical care arrives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
