This person will be responsible for leading a team in charge of billing, authorizations, and claim denials across the Home Health and Hospice lines of business.
We are growing rapidly, with twelve locations! This position is in our beautiful corporate office located in Salida, California.

) Qualifications Professional Medical Billing Requirements:
Five years (or more) related medical billing and collections experience Minimum three years managing a medical billing team Experience in a Home Health, Hospice, or similar setting Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, and insurance payors Continuing education of California and Federal billing regulations Preferred Software

Knowledge of EMR Systems:
preferably Wellsky, DeVero, and ClearCare Knowledge of DDE, Zirmed, EASE Ability, Office Ally, and Rev Connect Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database management skills Knowledge of NetSuite Accounting integration with EMR's a plus! Personal Attributes:

Provide leadership over all aspects of the revenue cycle and reporting Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication within the department Ensure the processing, monitoring, and collections of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other commercial insurance claims are completed timely and in compliance with HIPAA and coding standards Ensure insurance authorizations are completed timely and collaborate with clinical team on any authorization issues Timely resolution of all claim's denials, including filing of all appeals and resubmissions within applicable filing deadlines Verify accuracy of billing data and revising any errors Verify insurance eligibility during new year or open enrollment periods for Medicare Financial Reporting to Director of Finance & CEO Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue collection, reduce denials, and improve cash flow Create and distribute revenue cycle reports on schedule and as needed Analyze billing data and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Collaboration with the Director of Provider Contracting Gain understanding of authorization, billing, and collection procedures for any new insurances and share information amongst your team Complete the setup of new insurance portals and users Monitor and maintain compliance with contractual reporting obligations, under agreements with third party payors, and other partners Reduce AR (Accounts Receivable) aging to less than 90-days across all lines of business Benefits Competitive pay, robust benefits, and professional development opportunities are a few of the many reasons that Dhillon Healthcare Group is a wonderful place to build your career!
