Warehouse Clerk I (Production Planning) at Flory Industries Salida, CA 95368
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for properly and safely transporting product between departments and to accurately document quantity and location.
Responsibilities:
Properly and accurately read manufacturing parts demand and move product accordingly.
Position lifting devices under, over, and around loaded pallets, skids, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
Pack/unpack items to be stocked on shelves, racks, or storage yard.
Store items in safe, orderly and accessible manner.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting to manager.
Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and report discrepancies.
Deliver materials, products, parts, supplies to departments.
Maintain records and reports of inventories and of good user or issued.
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent1 years of forklift driving experienceMust be able to pass Forklift Driver Certification testPreferredExperience in warehouse, stockroom, and/or storage yard.
Working ConditionsWork indoor or outdoor depending on assignment.
Indoor environment:
cold, heat, dust, fumes, airborne particles, minimal to moderate noise levels, machinery, moving equipment.
Outdoor environment:
rain, extreme cold, wind, extreme heat, dust, moderate to loud noises, machinery, moving equipment.
Some work may involve long hours of sitting or standing Safety requirements:
safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear and gloves.
Additional protective equipment may be required depending on task or job duty performed.
