Job Description:
Gross Sales Revenue Conduct in-home consultations with potential customers 4-7 times a week, listening and understanding their project needs, measuring and photographing the project, and generating detailed job walk notes.
Conduct in-home proposal meetings with customers 4-7 times a week, presenting detailed project proposals and professionally addressing all objections preventing them from moving forward with their project.
Conduct interior and cabinet design meetings with customers 2-3 times a week, partnering with the CRATE designers to translate the customer's ideal project into a detailed specification.
Meet with the sales team weekly to grow, learn, and strategize together in a supportive, challenging environment.
Hand-off projects to the CRATE Project Management team, setting them up for great success during construction.
Work with CRATE suppliers to specify and secure necessary project materials and fixtures.
Interact with the local community, helping spread the CRATE brand throughout the region, develop critical relationships and become a valued part of the Sacramento region.
Please note:
While our company is closed on the weekends, this position will require work outside of typical business hours on a fairly regular basis.

Required Qualifications:
Reside between Roseville, CA and Turlock, CA.
Relocation assistance is provided as needed.
Know how to sell.
And not the unnatural, used-car salesman method of selling, but the selling where you get to know your customer's needs and do EVERYTHING in your power to meet their needs.
Understand residential construction materials and methods.
Be willing to spend weekdays at our corporate office in Salida during the initial training period.
Be a driven self-starter.
Since about 70% of your time will be spent on sales, your success depends solely on you and your motivation.
Love to make people smile.
You'll be dealing directly with clients and fellow team members on an hourly basis.
You'll be an ambassador of our brands and, therefore, must represent CRATE well! It would be best if you were organized.

If people around you always tell you how organized you are, you are just the person we need.
Have impeccable time-management skills.
Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Be able to take direction, constructive criticism, and work as part of a team.

Qualifications:
At least five years of experience in service (not retail) sales, ideally in the home improvement industry.
General knowledge of the building industry from a contractor, designer, or engineering perspective.
Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software or the ability to learn.
Ability to learn new computer software.
Compensation:
Base salary plus commission contingent upon experience.
Total salary plus commission opportunities should easily exceed $150,000
per year as you grow your network, geographic region, and sales skills.
